The new Spokane Valley City Council was sworn in this past Thursady evening, November 20, 2002 at the newly built University High School. They were introduced by noted KXLY television news anchorman Richard Brown. Guest speakers were Eldonna Gossett, President and CEO of the Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce, Doug Kelly, the 2002-2003 Chairman of the Board, Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce, and Sam Reed, Secretary of State, Washington.
