Valleyfest
2001 was a another great year that featured the Kelly Hughes Band
and Otto, the Spokane Indians mascot.
The Vallefest event provides entertainment for the entire family,
an opportunity for businesses and local nonprofit organizations
to connect with their community, fun activities, food and recognizing
area youth for their talents.
The community event featured the traditional parade up McDonald
Road that ends at Terrance View Park at Blake and 24th in the Spokane
Valley. Many booths were set up featuring community groups, local
businesses and or course, lots of great food. The highlight of this
year's Valleyfest was the Kelly Hughes Band in which the kids had
the opportunity to get on stage and dance.
The
following represents a pictoral overview of some of the events that
took place at Valleyfest 2001.
Pictures of the Kelly Hughes band can be found on page
