Dean Grafos recently made his first appointments as Spokane Valley's new mayor. He and fellow council members were assigned representation responsibilities on a total of 17 boards and committees.
City of Spokane Valley committee assignments made by Grafos include:
Finance Committee - Mayor Dean Grafos, Deputy Mayor Arne Woodard and Council Member Rod Higgins
Governance Manual Committee – Council Members Bill Bates and Ed Pace
Lodging Tax Advisory Committee – Council Member Ben Wick
Regional committee assignments include:
Association of NE Washington Mayors - Mayor Grafos
Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce board of directors - Deputy Mayor Woodard
Greater Spokane Inc. - Mayor Grafos
Spokane County Emergency Services Communications (9-1-1) Policy Board - Councilmember Bates
Spokane County Growth Management Steering Committee of Elected Officials - Mayor Grafos and Council Member Higgins
Spokane County Housing and Community Development Advisory Committee - Deputy Mayor Woodard
