Regional Visitors Center Opens in the Spokane Valley

The Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted a spectacular event to celebrate and showcase Valley Business and the Valley Community!

Under the umbrella of the Chamber's 80th Anniversary, Heritage to Hi-Tech recognized the progress and prosperity of the Spokane Valley. Senator Bob McCaslin gave an address on the vision of the Spokane Valley.

In fiscal year 1999-2000, it is investing $4.25 million - $2.17 of it in Washington - in 78 Northwest research projects focusing on prevention and treatment of heart disease and stroke.

Opens New Valley and North Town Stores. Sprint PCS is pleased to announce the opening of 2 new retail centers in the Spokane area.
First Savings Bank of Washington
Opened a new full service branch in the Valley off Pines Rd. and I-90. The Chamber was there to welcome them to the community.
Spokane Valley YMCA
Thursday, April 27, 2000 the Valley Chamber welcomed the new ultra-modern Valley YMCA with a grand opening reception. This report has some nice pictures of the pool areas.
