Signs of Spring
Spokane Valley resident Gail Melanson took time to stock up on fruits and vegetables at Rusty’s Fruit Stand at the corner of Sprague and McDonald on a weekday recently. The venue, part of the local landscape since 1988, now features Yakima asparagus, apples from Wenatchee, and citrus from warm weather locations like Texas and California. Around the corner, shoppers can look forward to additional produce such as strawberries and cantaloupes.
