The Festival of Trees 1999 is a fund raising effort that makes it possible to donate proceeds to the following worthy causes:

Spokane Valley Meals on Wheels
Valley Hospital's "Hugs to Health"
Spokane Valley Center
Mirebeau Point Community Center
College Scholarships
Character Education Programs

The Festival of Trees consists of various festival events announced to the local community. One such event is the , held this past Saturday the 20th at the Spokane Valley Mall Food Court. (View pictures of the event).

Another major fund raising event is The GALA in which people have the opportunity to bid on six gorgeously decorated trees and other special items. This year they had an oval shaped DIAMOND, a beautiful blue SAPPHIRE, and a blazing red RUBY hiddin among the trees. Who would be the lucky person to bid and win the tree and the hidden precious jewel?
