This year's Valleyfest 2003 theme was "A Celebration of Our Community's Heritage". Our Grand Marshals were The City of Spokane Valley Mayor MIKE DeVLEMING and KHQ television news anchor SHELLY MONAGHAN..

 

Also featured were the the Spokane Taiko Group, An Dopchas and the Haran Dancers, the Angus Scott Pipe Band, The Rockin Bandits, the U-High Step Team, the Lilac City Cloggers, and the Inland Northwest Dance Association. This year's Valleyfest event took Place on September 20th, 2003
.

The community event features a Pancake Fun Run, a traditional Parade up McDonald Road that ends at Terrance View Park at Blake and 24th in the Spokane Valley and Free Variety Shows featuring 3 stages, (center stage, east and west stages).

Many display booths are set up featuring community groups, local businesses and or course, lots of great food. There are many free activities for children.
